Pure Life's production of sprouted breads started at Myocum in northern NSW in 1988. In 1990, the operation moved down the road to the coastal town of Yamba where it still operates as a family business today.
Our product range has increased from our original Sprouted Wheat and Sprouted Rye loaves to a total of eleven varieties. This has been achieved through the experimentation and introduction of different whole grains and the combinations of grains, plus the addition of dates and walnuts to two varieties to produce cake-like loaves.
Our aim is to provide the healthiest bread available and we are certain that this has been achieved.
Our bread is made from Demeter certified bio-dynamic grain. Our farmers use environmentally friendly, ecologically safe, biological methods to activate and nurture the life of the soil, plants and animals within nature's organisation, without the use of artificial or synthetic chemicals, fertilisers, genetically modified organisms or the use of any unnecessary additives.
We do not use additives and preservatives in any of our breads. We do not add anything such as the detrimental ingredients commonly found in conventional breads including flour, sunflower oil (or other oils), added gluten, salt, sugar, yeast or vinegar, all of which are not required for a healthy diet.
